A modern home, sited within a Conservation Area on the edge of a Green Belt adjacent to a Listed Ancient Monument Abbey, this project certainly provided a challenge for Halliday Clark.

Overcoming difficult access issues through a listed cruck barn, surrounded by existing dwellings, the scheme achieved full support from the Local Authority, resulting in the successful delivery of this spectacular 5-bedroom property which includes an indoor swimming pool, open plan living arrangements and indoor/outdoor spaces. The scheme was approved by Delegated Powers and completed as a self-build by the owner.

Its crisp modernity has seen it feature as a backdrop to many TV adverts and even formed the fictional LA villa for Ricky Gervais during one of the Oscar ceremonies.
